Program Overview:

Purpose: 

If you are seeking more information or are unsure how DeLoach Family Ties and the services we provide can assist you, we encourage you to complete the General Intake. Completing the GeneralIntake will provide our staff with vital information to determine how we can tailor our services to meet your unique needs.

BEFORE YOU APPLY, PLEASE NOTE:

DeLoach Family Ties will only respond to requests for assistance once all required documentation has been submitted. All documents must be sent to the following email address: Parishart.deloachfamilyties@gmail.com

Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for our services, individuals and families must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a resident of Essex County and provide documentation to confirm residency.

Program Structure:

  1. Application Process:

    • Families in need will complete an application form on the DeLoach Family Ties website or contact the organization directly to request assistance.

    • The application will collect information about the household, income sources, and documentation of financial hardship.

  2. Verification Process:

    • Our team will review applications and verify the provided documentation to confirm eligibility for our services.

    • A DeLoach Family Ties (DFT) Intake must be completed online via Zoom.

    • Enrollment remains active for 90 days; after 90 days, a new intake must be completed with updated information.

  3. Proof of Income Requirements:

    • The Head of Household and all members 18 years of age or older must provide proof of income if requesting assistance for:

      • Rental assistance

      • Utility assistance

      • Housing support

    • Income guidelines and maximum household income limits will be determined based on the total income of all household members.

Acceptable Documents for Proof of Income:

  • Current 30-day pay stub
  • Disability check
  • Unemployment check
  • Employer letter (on company letterhead) including full name and contact information of the employer.

Exceptions: Certain documents may not be required for clients in specific situations, such as:

  • Domestic Violence cases

    • In these instances, a notarized letter confirming zero income is required if any household member states they have no income.
